Hot weather concerns for Race Fans and Marshals

In Club Press Release, marshals, News by S100 Admin1 Comment

Following the long spell of hot weather, the land surrounding
the Colas Billown Course is tinder dry and we ask that
everybody in these areas take extra care when discarding
cigarette butts.
If you intend to use a barbecue, please make the Marshals in
this area aware and don’t leave temporary barbecues
smouldering.
Finally, keep hydrated and protected from the sun.
Remember to take adequate fluids and sun protection with you
if you are marshalling or spectating.

Peter Chadwick
Chief Marshal

  1. Cigarette butts should not just be thrown away anyway! They pollute the environment and look disgusting. Dogs cats and wildlife can eat them too making the animals very sick.

No animals/ dogs should be left out in the sun or in parked cars!
