The Colas Billown Course

In News by Phil Edge

The Colas Group have been based at the Billown Quarry since the 1970’s and have been involved with the racing on the southside course for many years.

Colas have obtained the ‘naming rights’ to the Billown Course and are now in their second year, with an option for a further two years afterwards.

The 4.25-mile course is now known as The Colas Billown Course.

Colas have assisted with improvement works in the Winners Enclosure Area as well as being involved with the New Race Control for which Southern 100 Racing are extremely appreciative and look forward to their continued support in the future.

Additionally, for the immense benefit of race fans, the company has for a second year erected a special Grandstand at Ballakaighan Corner which provide great views into the first right-hand corner of the course and the down the Ballakaighan Straight towards Iron Gate.

Again, the organisers thank Colas Isle of Man for their support.
