The Southern 100 Road Races, Solo and Sidecar Champions received unique awards at the Southern 100 Annual Dinner, held at the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino recently.

Dean Harrison winner of the Hunt’s Motorcycles Solo Championship and Pete Founds and Jevan Walmsley the Darryl Blake Construction Sidecar Championship winners each received one of the especially designed Championship Rings, handmade by Japanese Jewellery Designer Natsuki Soutome for CSA who very kindly provide these rare awards.

Club Chairman, George Peach handed over the rings during the evening saying: ‘The club is very appreciative of the generosity of Naoki Hagiwara of CSA in Japan for sponsoring these very special Championship rings that are each unique in their design and to the Southern 100.

‘Unfortunately, Naoki and his team are unable to be with us this year, as they were last February, and we look forward to seeing them at Billown in a few months’ time.’
