Six Times Pre-TT Classic Race Winner Dies

Southern 100 Racing are saddened to learn of the passing of Ted Fenwick on Sunday 24th January 2021, just two months prior to his 93rd birthday. A man of York, Ted entered and competed in the first Pre-TT Classic Road Races in 1988 and continued to race annually on the Billown course up to and including 2016, some 28 years in all. As a mere 60-year-old in 1988, Ted claimed a creditable 10th place in the 350cc Junior race on …

Alan Holmes Passes

It is with much sadness that Southern 100 Racing learnt of the passing of Alan Holmes on Tuesday 15th December 2020 after a short illness. Former Southern 100 Director Dies

Southern 100 Racing are saddened to learn of the passing of Fred Adlem on Sunday evening 22nd November 2020. Fred a familiar face around the Billown Course for some 30 years became a director of the Southern 100 Motorcycle Cub in 1991 until retiring at the end of 2000. Fred became Deputy Clerk of Works in 1989 and continued in that role up to and including 1995. The following year he took over as Club Steward, a position he held …
