Colas Billown Circuit Safety
Southern 100 Road Racing & ACU Events Ltd are committed to continuing to improve safety of both competitors and spectators around the Colas Billown Course.
Those of you who attending the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races last month or if you live on the Island then you may have noticed our brand new safety fencing located on the Castletown Bypass, our start and finish line.
In order to allow spectators to continue to watch along the start & finish line a decision was made to install the universal temporary plastic barriers that are filled with water and have debris fencing placed on top.
The barriers will be emptied at the end of the Southern 100 in July and removed by course contractors IDG.
We appreciate your understanding in having these along the bypass to allow spectators to continue to watch our wonderful mass starts!
