Ireland Ambassador Out & About!

Southern 100 Marshals Association’s latest Ambassador, Uel Irwin has been busy spreading ‘the word’ on recruiting marshals to assist at this year’s races on the Colas Billown Course, the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races in May, and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races in July.

Two of his recent venues have been in Ballymoney where he called in to Ducati & Suzuki dealers Millsport Motorcycles who kindly agreed to display the Southern 100 Marshals Association poster and flyers.

Triumph mounted Uel then spent some time at the Ballymoney Motorcycle Show promoted by the Mid Antrim 150 Club where he met up with MCUI – Ulster Centre Official Wesley Grace.

Chief Marshal, Miles Corlett said: ‘Uel is doing an excellent job publicising our need for marshals to ensure we can run our two races as planned. I am pleased to say we are receiving some response to his efforts.

‘All marshals will receive a warm welcome at Billown and we look forward to welcoming back familiar faces and greeting new ones in the near future.’
