IFGL Partners Southern 100

Castletown based IFGL have been long-time supporters of the road races held on the Colas Billown Course with their involvement with the ‘friendly races’.

Firstly taking on the sponsorship of the Grandstand at the Start – Finish for all events held annually, before becoming head-line sponsors of the 350cc Junior Race at the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races in 2018.

The Covid Pandemic forced a sabbatical in 2020, with the local company taking on the role as title sponsor as Southern 100 Racing organised a Motorcycle Show in the Paddock area during what would have been the traditional race week, which proved highly successful in 2021.

Chairman and Race Secretary George Peach said: ‘Southern 100 Racing as promoters of the races, are very pleased to have IFGL as a partner for the two prestigious events, the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races in May and July and look forward to their continued support which we have enjoyed in the past.’
