Headline Sponsor for Motorcycle Show
With the recent announcement of a Motorcycle Show in the Southern 100 Race Paddock in July, the organisers, Southern 100 Racing are pleased to confirm that IFGL have agreed to become ‘tle sponsors’ of the event which will now be called: “The Southern 100 Motorcycle Show supported by IFGL”.
Club Chairman, George Peach said: “Southern 100 Racing is greatly appreciave of IFGL for joining us as tle sponsor of the Southern 100 Motorcycle Show.
“This is the club’s first venture into promong such an event, as we would normally be very occupied with organising ‘the friendly races’ and looking forward to welcoming people from near and far to our July races.
“Castletown based Friends Provident Internaonal, an IFGL company has been associated with the races on the Billown Course for a number of years and it is good to have the group working with us again.”
Mike Crellin, Managing Director of IFGL said: “We hope this show will celebrate the Island’s motorsport heritage and whet our appete for when the Southern 100 event returns in 2022. One of our companies, Friends Provident Internaonal, has been a supporter of the Southern 100 in the past, while another IFGL company, RL360, is the longest running TT sponsor, having been involved since 2002. So the Island’s motorsport events are very close to our hearts and I’m delighted that we at IFGL are sponsoring this event.”
George Peach concluded: “There is a great deal of interest with Event and Race Sponsors requesng a presence, along with racing teams and other organisaons involved with motorcycle sport on the Island wanng to be involved. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all, young and not so young to the Southern 100 Motorcycle Show on Saturday 10th July, which will hopefully help fill the void le by the lack of road racing on the Isle of Man during the Covid Pandemic.”
