Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races 2025 Entries Open
Southern 100 Racing, organisers of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races are pleased to advise that Regulations and Entry Forms for the 2025 Meeting, which will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7th, 8th, 9th, & 10th July are now available on the official website here.
Competitors are advised that they should take particular notice of the regulations regarding clothing, helmets, boots, gloves which have been brought in line with the ACU Mountain Course requirements.
Entries from Next Generation Supersport machines are being welcomed for the first time. Under the Next Generation rules, all competing machines must run standardized electronic control units (ECUs) and adhere to balancing measures such as rev limits, weight requirements, and performance parity adjustments. These regulations ensure that a variety of engine configurations can compete on equal terms, providing a more diverse and engaging racing experience.
Sidecar specifications are similar to last year: Formula Two Sidecar Race. Category B1, B2. For Machines complying with ACU FII British Sidecar Standing Regulations including 675cc Triumphs & 900cc Parallel Twins. 765cc Machines are NOT permitted.
