Marshal Sign-On for Billown Course Road Races
A truly magnificent meeting of the best of classic machinery, top draw riders, brilliant fans, and the essential smell of Castrol R. Not surprising how the Interest is building after the lack of racing for three years and the best way to start the TT fortnight.
The Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races are just twelve (12) weeks away with the first practice session taking place on Friday evening 27th May 2022 on the Colas Billown Course, and Southern 100 Motorcycle Racing are pleased to advise a high uptake in competitor entries.
The Southern 100 Marshals Association, along with the race organisers, have during our enforced covid sabbatical dragged ourselves in to the modern digital age with a new website, which includes all the information you require regarding marshalling, training, dates and course and the all-important On-line Sign-On procedure.
All sign on information and details are available on Southern100.com go to marshals.
However, Southern 100 Marshals Association, also realise that some marshals do not view Facebook or use computers regularly and may be unaware of the new ‘set up’.
Any marshal who cannot access the Southern 100 official website and would like to receive the forms by post are asked to contact Chief Marshal, Peter Chadwick as soon as possible via his email: chiefmarshal@southern100.com or by phoning 07624-304018.
Our Southern100 Marshals Association course qualifies you with an ACU accredited certificate and licence and a new badge designed by Orry Lewin, to wear with pride.
Let us make sure we have enough marshals to ensure the smooth running of the Pre TT. Shake out your marshalling gear and remind yourself how much you enjoyed meeting old and new friends last time supporting this great event. New marshals are welcome, and it will be great to see some of you younger ones joining us.
Peter Chadwick.
