DAO Confirmed as Title Sponsor for Post TT Road Races
Southern 100 Racing are pleased to confirm that DAO Holdings are to be the Title Sponsor of the Post TT Road Races 2022.
The Post TT Road Races were introduced on the Colas Billown Course in 1991 as a fitting conclusion to the TT Festival to entertain fans who were staying on the Island after the end of the TT Races (on the Friday).
The three-race programme has proved popular with competitors and fans alike over the years with many of the TT stars entering and readjusng their riding skills to massed-start racing.
Race Secretary and Club Chairman George Peach said: ‘Southern 100 Racing are delighted to welcome DAO Holdings as Title Sponsor for the2022 Post TT Road Races after becoming a partner, sponsoring the Grandstand at Castletown Corner in 2019.
‘DAO were to have become Title Sponsors in 2020 until the meeting was cancelled due to the Covid Pandemic with a similar situation arising this year.’
‘We very much appreciate DAO Holdings involvement with the races on the Colas Billown Course, not only as event sponsors, but also in bringing their solo and sidecar racing teams to compete in the ‘friendly races’ and
thank Clarissa Beadman for their continued support.’
The 2022 DAO Post TT Road Races take place on Saturday 11th with practice and qualifying taking place between 1.00pm and 4.00pm, with the racing acon between 5.00pm and 8.30pm for 600cc Supersport; 650cc Supertwins, 250cc and Moto3 and Superbike races.
