Southern 100 launches post-event survey to help shape the future of the Friendly Races

The Southern 100 Road Races has launched a 2026 post-event survey, inviting everyone connected with this year’s event to share their views and help shape the future of one of the British Isle’s most loved sporting occasions.

Whether you competed, marshalled, volunteered, spectated, watched online, supported the event as a sponsor or trader, or live or work around the Motor Isle Billown Course, we want to hear from you.

The survey has been designed to gather feedback from every part of the Southern 100 community, helping the organising team understand what worked well in 2026 and where improvements can be made ahead of future meetings.

Areas covered include communications, spectator facilities, live coverage, marshalling, competitor experience, accessibility, merchandise, supporter membership, community impact and future priorities. Respondents will also have the opportunity to share their own suggestions and ideas for the future of the event.

As a thank you for taking part, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £200 Isle of Man Steam Packet Company voucher, kindly provided by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.

Southern 100 Chairman George Peach said:

“The Southern 100 has always been known as the Friendly Races and that reputation is built on the people who make the event what it is. Whether you are a rider, marshal, volunteer, spectator, sponsor, resident or supporter watching from around the world, your feedback is incredibly valuable.

Every response will be carefully reviewed and will help us identify what we’re doing well, where we can improve and how we continue developing the event while preserving everything that makes the Southern 100 so special. We would encourage everyone who was involved in any way this year to take a few minutes to complete the survey.”

The survey takes around 5–10 minutes to complete and most questions are optional. Responses will be used to support planning for future Southern 100 events, with findings helping to inform decisions across all areas of the meeting.

The Southern 100 encourages as many people as possible to take part, ensuring the views of competitors, volunteers, visitors, local residents and supporters are all represented.

The survey can be completed online a

The survey will remain open until 14th September 2026

One lucky respondent will win a £200 Isle of Man Steam Packet Company voucher, so don’t miss the opportunity to have your say and be in with a chance of winning.
