Southern 100 Racing Welcomes the Return of the Fanzone in Conjunction with Bushy’s and Castletown Town Commissioners

Southern 100 Racing is pleased to confirm the return of the Fanzone in conjunction with Bushy’s to Castletown Square for the 2026 Southern 100 Road Races. Once again the Fanzone will bring together fans, riders and the local community in the heart of the ancient capital.

Taking place throughout race week from Monday 6th to Thursday 9th July, the Fanzone will provide a lively hub of entertainment and activity, offering visitors the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere away from the course whilst staying connected to all the racing action.

With live music, rider appearances, competitions, refreshments and race coverage on the big screen, the Fanzone in conjunction with Bushy’s has become a must-visit destination for race fans and visitors alike.

  • Opening Hours: Open daily from 10:00am until 11:00pm, Monday to Wednesday with a slightly earlier start of 09:30am on Thursday.
  • Live Entertainment: A packed programme of local musicians and performers will take to the stage each day, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout race week.
  • Rider Interviews and Q&A Sessions: Fans will have the opportunity to hear from some of the sport’s biggest names during daily rider appearances and chat shows.
  • Competitions and Giveaways: Visitors can take part in a range of competitions throughout the week, with Southern 100 merchandise, grandstand tickets and other prizes up for grabs.
  • Live Racing on the Big Screen: Race action and highlights will be broadcast throughout the week, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment while enjoying everything the Fanzone has to offer.

As racing concludes on Thursday evening, the traditional Southern 100 Prize Presentation will once again take centre stage in Castletown Square. Hosted in front of fans, teams, riders and sponsors, the presentation remains one of the most distinctive and popular traditions of the Southern 100 Road Races.

The evening will also feature live entertainment to round off another memorable week of racing around the Motor Isle Billown Course.

Rachel Palmer, from Southern 100, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome back the Fanzone inconjunction with Bushy’s for 2026. It has become an important part of the Southern 100 experience, providing a fantastic space for fans to meet, socialise and enjoy everything the friendly races has to offer. The atmosphere created in Castletown Square over the four days is always incredible and we’re grateful to Bushy’s, Castletown Town Commissioners, the Department for Enterprise and ELS Group for helping us continue to grow and develop the Fanzone year after year. We’re looking forward to another fantastic week and welcoming visitors from across the British Isles and beyond.”

Martin Brunnschweiler, Founder of Bushy’s Brewery, added:

“Bushy’s are delighted to be sponsoring the Southern 100 Fanzone once again. The Fox and Fyn bar will be situated in the Fanzone all week to enhance the experience for the fans of the Friendly Races which goes from strength to strength each year!“
