Your Guide to Southern 100 Week 2026: Events Beyond the Racing
Aside from the racing, the Isle of Man is brimming with activity during Southern 100 Week 2026. Whether you’re a die-hard road racing fan, a first-time visitor or simply looking to experience the Island’s unique atmosphere, there’s a packed calendar of events taking place before, during and after race week.
Here’s your guide to what’s happening around the Isle of Man during the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races period.
SATURDAY 4TH & SUNDAY 5TH JULY
WORLD DOWNHILL SKATEBOARDING CHAMPIONSHIP – TT MOUNTAIN COURSE
Get ready for one of the fastest and most spectacular events on two wheels without an engine. The World Downhill Skateboarding Championship arrives on the TT Course between Guthrie’s Memorial and Ramsey Hairpin, with 60 competitors from around the globe tackling this challenging mountain section at breathtaking speeds.
New for 2026 is the Festival Village opposite Ramsey Bus Station, featuring catering, entertainment and a vibrant atmosphere throughout the weekend.

ACU BRITISH ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP – RAMSEY
Rounds five and six of the 2026 ACU British Timecard Enduro Championship take place over the weekend of July 4th and 5th in the north of the island. The host club is Ramsey MCC and the chief organiser is Dave Leach, a past Southern 100 champion. Start times are 10am both days, Saturday from a point close to the Courthouse, and Sunday from Mooragh Promenade.
Timed special tests will be at Ballagarraghyn (one mile from Jurby airfield) and Tholt y Will plantation both days.
WORLD TIN BATH CHAMPIONSHIPS – CASTLETOWN
One of the Island’s most unique and entertaining traditions returns to Middle Harbour, Castletown. The World Tin Bath Championships challenge competitors to navigate a 400-metre course around the harbour in strictly regulated tin baths, some more seaworthy than others! Why not take part, entries are still open. Learn more and enter on the Tin Bath website.
Organised by the Castletown Real Ale Drinkers Society since 1971, this much-loved event attracts over 100 entrants every year, with all proceeds supporting local charities. Alongside the main race, visitors can enjoy the famous Snake Race and a host of family-friendly entertainment.

SUNDAY 5TH JULY
TOUR DE FARMS
Tour de Farms returns for 2026, bigger and better than ever. Supported by Isle of Man Creamery and Cycle 360, participants can choose from two brand-new cycling routes through picturesque Manx countryside and working farms.
Riders will enjoy delicious local produce at three farm stops while raising valuable funds for Hospice Isle of Man.

SOUTHERN 100 MEMORIAL LAPS & CHURCH SERVICE – KIRK MALEW
Join the Southern 100 community at 2:00pm for two memorial laps followed by a 3:00pm service at Kirk Malew Church. Accompanied by the Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band and a floral tribute, this moving occasion remembers the riders, officials and supporters who have shaped Southern 100 history.

DEMOLITION DERBY & STOCKCAR RACING – ONCHAN
Experience a different kind of motorsport at the Isle of Man’s home of stockcar racing. Featuring drivers of all ages and backgrounds competing together on the oval circuit, expect close racing, spectacular action and plenty of entertainment.

MONDAY 6TH JULY
TYNWALD DAY – ST JOHN’S
Celebrate the Isle of Man’s National Day at the historic Tynwald Hill. The ancient outdoor parliamentary ceremony remains one of the Island’s most important traditions and is a celebration of Manx culture, heritage and democracy.
Visitors can enjoy ceremonial proceedings, entertainment, exhibitions, local produce and family activities throughout the day.

JURBY TRANSPORT MUSEUM OPEN DAY – JURBY
Step back in time and discover the Island’s rich transport heritage at the Jurby Transport Museum. Explore an impressive collection of vintage buses, cars, trucks, model railways and even a historic horse tram.
With fascinating local history displays and rare Isle of Man transport treasures on show, there’s something for enthusiasts and families alike. Refreshments will also be available throughout the day.

SOUTHERN 100 FANZONE INCONJUNCTION WITH BUSHY’S – CASTLETOWN SQUARE
The Southern 100 Fanzone returns to Castletown Square from Monday through Thursday, creating the perfect hub for race fans and visitors alike.
Enjoy live entertainment, rider appearances, interviews, race coverage, food, refreshments and a fantastic atmosphere in the heart of the ancient capital.

SATURDAY 11TH & SUNDAY 12TH JULY
ANDREAS RACING ASSOCIATION – JURBY CIRCUIT
The only two-day Andreas Racing Association meeting of the year returns to Jurby Circuit. Featuring packed grids of solo and sidecar racing, this popular event takes place on the Island’s only permanent short circuit, situated on a former RAF airfield.
Jurby’s combination of fast straights, technical corners and its famously favourable microclimate make it a favourite for both riders and spectators.
FESTIVAL OF THE SEA – PORT ERIN
Discover the wonders of Manx marine life at the annual Manx Wildlife Trust Festival of the Sea. Held on Port Erin’s seafront, the event features giant marine tanks, educational displays, interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and family-friendly games.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about the Island’s unique marine environment while enjoying a great day by the sea.

MANX NATIONAL 2-DAY TRIAL
One of the largest motorcycle trials events in the British Isles returns for another thrilling weekend of competition. Welcoming both solo and sidecar riders, the Manx National 2-Day Trial covers numerous venues across the Island and showcases exceptional riding skill across challenging terrain. Both days start from Douglas Rugby Club, Port-e-Chee (between Quarterb Bridge and Braddan on the TT Course) with the first riders leaving from 8am. There is a large solo entry with 240 entries, who will tackle a route in the south of the island on Saturday, reverting to a separate route based in the north on Sunday. Both routes cover in excess of 40 miles each day with competitors tackling 36 observed sections at various locations spread across the Island.
The sidecars have a small field of around one dozen crews, who will run opposite to the solos starting in the north before heading south on Sunday.
